when can infants eat eggs
when can babies begin eating eggs? (My infant is 13 months…)?

By the time babies are seven to nine months old, they’re usually ready and anxious to start experimenting with the “real” foods they see other people eating. So,it’s time to enter a new phase of eating. But the transition to table food is a step-by-step process. The first step is finger foods. The first finger foods should be nutritional, easy to chew and swallow and cut into small-sized chunks or cubes that baby can handle. Some of the best finger foods to begin with include: bagels, rice cakes, lightly buttered toast, crispy crackers, oat circle cereals (like Cheerios); tiny wedges of soft fruits and vegetables like bananas, ripe pears and peaches, melon, white or sweet potato, cooked carrot, peas, grated carrot, mashed potatoes, canned, unsweetened fruit, small pieces of pancake, grated cheese.
As chewing ability increases between nine and 12 months, add foods like soft-cooked pasta, small pieces of tender meat, soft cooked pieces of chicken and fish, eggs (if allowed), noodles, and peeled and seeded fruits. Start by serving a few pieces of food and offer more if baby is interested—giving a baby too much may be overwhelming.

Never give a baby foods that commonly cause choking
such as hot dogs, grapes, hard, round candy, raisins, popcorn, nuts, raw, firm vegetables and fruits, chunks of meat or poultry or large globs of peanut butter. Make sure baby is seated and stationary when eating and never leave him alone while he is eating.

When your baby is about one year old, you may offer a wider variety of finger foods and table foods as part of a well-balanced diet.

Unless your baby is allergic normally you can already introduce eggs in her happy meal otherwise wait a bit longer til her body is old enough to cope..
