What can u do for an infant’s cough?
My son is 11 months, and has a dry cough that is keeping him from sleeping. I bought some childrens cold and cough medicine, only to see that it says only for age 2 + on the bottle. I have tried childrens soothing tea, which he didn’t like the taste of. Also a little tylonal… but wish there was something to coat his throat.
Put about 1 teaspoon of honey in a cup or bottle of warm tea that works really good sometimes, or anouther really fabulous thing you can try is to take a peppermint and break it up into little pieces and warm it up on a stove top in some tea, sounds crazy but let the peppermint melt all the way in the tea let it cool to your desire temp and infants and toddlers love the taste and it coats the throat for a good long time, my 13 year old son still to this day thinks its the only thing that will make him stop coughing lol good luck, and fyi honey is not harmfull to children and steam opens respritory glands but it drys tonsiles
