Purely Yours Breast Pump Price

What are the best Breast pumps?

i am eight months pregnant and would like to breastfeed, but will need to bottlefeed when i go back to work. I have been reading reviews, and asking around and have gotten mixed opinions on which breast pumps are best. so far the medela advanced, the adema purely yours, and doctor brown’s natural flow electric have had the highest ratings. has anyone used any of these? i am on a fairly tight budget, and really don’t have the $320 for the medela advanced. but was looking more for something between $150 and $250. of course comfort and durability are more important than price. can anyone reccomend a good pump?

The Ameda is my fav. I work full-time and though it was $200.00, it paid for itself because I never needed to buy formula. It’s easy to set up and break down, it is a closed system meaning that no milk contamination can occur. Likewise, it’s efficient.

The evenflo is fine if you are not working full-time, but if you are, you need a professional grade pump. Mine is 14 months old now and it runs as good as the first day I used it.

Mine was $200.00.

Also, buy additional parts for your pump- the breast flanges, the white inserts, and the silicone inserts. You will need them in a pinch if your own breaks. I needed to replace the silicone inserts once so far and the white rubber inserts 3 times- but they are cheap.

You also don’t want to buy a cheap pump and have it break down when you are working full-time- and out of luck until you get a replacement.

Last year, i was pumping 4 times a day- now only twice.

We are also on a tight budget- and my husbnad cringed at the price, but when we got through the first year with no formula at all- he was really pleased and said it was so worth it. I had to agree.

Good luck to you!
